We have a brand new Royer 121 waiting to give you that great, thick, guitar tone you are looking for. We also purchased 3 additional cue mixers, ensuring that we will have plenty of cue boxes, no matter how big your session! November 12, 2009 - CONGRATULATIONS to Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker!!! Brad won the CMA for Male Vocalist of the Year as well as the award for Musical Event of the Year. Darius was awarded New Artist of the Year. Both artists have spent a considerable amount of time recording here at the Castle and we very proud of all their accomplishments! August 31, 2009 - A couple of news tidbits: Miley Cyrus and Grammy winning producer John Shanks recently stopped by to work on some vocal overdubs. We’ve been busy upgrading wiring and adding in some new mic lines around the building. And we’ve also recently added a pair of brand new AT 4033’s to an already well-stocked mic closet! June 20th, 2009- Castle was well represented at the recent CMT Awards. Over half of the night’s performances were from artists who have recently recorded here, several of whom took home awards. Dec 10th, 2008- We recently installed Line6 Echo Farm on our Pro Tools HD rig here at the Castle, a great collection of vintage delay effects. Echo Farm can create a cool vibe for tracking or add that extra something to your mix. October 31st, 2008- Keith Urban’s latest single, “Sweet Thing”, recorded here at the Castle is now available for preview. Check it out on Keith’s website before its official release on November 3rd. October 29th, 2008- Brad Paisley’s latest album “Play”, recorded at the Castle in Spring 2008, will be released on November 4th. Check out the album on Brad’s website. September 20th, 2008- Brad Paisley’s album “5th Gear”, recorded and mixed here at the Castle, has been on the Billboard 200 for over a year, reaching as high as the number 3 spot.
